Naturea Cantabria
Nature interpretation activities suitable for all types of visitors.
“Naturea Cantabria” is the program for the revitalisation and maintenance of public use in the network of Protected Natural Areas in Cantabria. It is organised by the Cantabrian Network of Rural Development and its associates, local action groups, with the funding of the Director General of Biodiversity, Environment and Climate Change of the Regional Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Environment of Cantabria.
“Naturea Cantabria” proposes a wide variety of nature interpretation activities in protected areas, with proposals for all types of visitors and adapted to each season, offering the possibility of discovering the many facets of the abundant nature in our Autonomous Community.
In the case of the Pas Valleys, we have our headquarters in Puente Viesgo, where we offer an annual itinerary of guided and interpreted nature routes, as well as the periodical organisation of events such as “the seasonal Thursdays”, a series of lectures that analyse in depth topics like the natural environment of our region.
