The shrine of Santa Eulalia has a chapel dedicated to the Virgin of El Carmen, which stands out because of its slender belfry. It is a rural construction from 17th century, but it existed from the Early Middle Ages, when it was part of the Monastery of Fístoles, in the valley of Cayón.
This proyect has been made possible thanks to the implementation of the LEADER Valles Pasiegos 2014 - 2020 program, financed by the Regional Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Enviroment of Cantabria; the Ministry of Agroculture, Food and Enviroment; the European Union FEADER funds, and the City Councils integrated in the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Pas Valleys.
