The beech grove of Aloños is one of the few forests in the Pisueña riverside where farming usage has been very intense during the last 150 years.
Looking northeast are areas between Pisueña and Pas. The traditional path linking both villages can still be found, communicating Aloños with San Martín de Toranzo.
In the interior of the beech forest, we can see the different stages of evolution and preservation of these trees from the young specimens in the lower areas to more mature in the superior part.
