House of the Patriarch
The House of the Patriarch, in Selaya, gets its name from one of its owners José Arce Rebollar, archbishop of Zaragoza and Burgos and General Inquisitor, who was Patriarch of the Indies. It is built in the 17th century in masonry, with ashlar masonry on the corners and the tower that tops one of the corners is notable. It has two coats of the arms of Abascal and Zorrilla. It responds to Classic construction patterns of a sober style, with decorations only on the ledges and moldings of the two parapet balconies on the second floor of the tower.
