Ethnographic Centre Casa del Pasiego

The Interpretation Centre “Casa del Pasiego” is a show of the traditionally farmer character of Pas people. This centre along with the Pas Villages Museum in Vega de Pas, collects features of the rural setting, landscape, geography, traditional environmentu use, architecture, leisure, sports, festivities and historical footprints from local residents.

As a feature to this expository document, based on historical pictures, other significant resources have been installed, regarding the cattle farming in the region. Furthermore, thematic exhibitions of images (DVD support), in which fifty photographies are shown, coupled with traditional music, are offered in wood modules built-in monitors. The projections collect regional figures, traditional jobs, festivities and popular traditions.
