In the spring of 1998, the editorial Cantabria Tradicional was founded in Torrelavega at the initiative of Ramón Villegas López and Manuel Bahíllo Martín. Its main objective was to make known by publishing books and records a copious production of Cantabrian-themed cultural content.
Although its headquarters are in Torrelavega, Ramón has strong ties with the Toranzo Valley.
