Founded in 1974 by Juan Carral Gutiérrez and Pilar Fernández Mantecón, this family business over the years has consolidated its activity, becoming a benchmark in the production of artisan bread and also in specific products at certain times of the year such as the traditional roscón de reyes. It currently distributes throughout the Carriedo Valley, but also in neighboring municipalities and the rest of Cantabria.
In addition, and regardless of the artisan production, they also carry out activities such as the summer courses offered for children at the Colegio Padres Escolapios de Villacarriedo, where they teach children the techniques of making traditional bread. Likewise, they are analyzing the possibility of incorporating in the medium term the elaboration of artisan muffins with raw material of excellent quality.
