Interpretation Centre of Roman

In the town of Socobio (Castañeda), is located the Interpretation Centre of Roman, in the old schools and in front of the Collegiated Church of Castañeda. This centre is among the works on improving the setting of the Collegiated Church, which became in 2005, and with the goal of turning the building into a mandatory visit for art lovers.

The centre, aside from being a museum, also does the works of Tourism Office and has an exhibition room, where are kept different murals with explanations about Roman art and a series of scale models of Cantabrian buildings of said style.
