Hand-painted tiles Ruth Pozas
Located in Santa María de Cayón is Ruth Pozas López, an artisanal interior decorator particularly specialising in the treatment of rustic tiles and pots or milk “cacharras” which she hand-paints with acrylic paintings.
Ruth uses different landscapes and Pas motives as background for her artisanal work, on tiles or old milk churns that Pas people used to move the milk to the retrieval points.
As an addition, Ruth also sells cow horns fire-engraved with decorations; the horns are adapted to make the sound which was used for communication and warning between shepherds in the Pas mountains.
